Commission Closer/Exhibition Opener

Sacrifice Fly

Sacrifice Fly, oil on canvas, 54" x 42", 2014

My last painting of 2014, "Sacrifice Fly" was a commissioned Christmas present for an elite softball player who has played for the Canadian National and Quebec softball teams.  I love to paint bodies in motion and so it was a pleasure and a privilege to paint her incredible athleticism, flying through the air and making a spectacular catch.
